Walk in the Parc du Vignaou (Duration: 30 min)

Explore the Parc du Vignaou, a haven of tranquility to discover in half an hour. We could almost speak of an arboretum to describe this park with its centuries-old arboreal heritage, classified as “Remarkable Trees”. When starting the route, scan the QR code on the first educational panel. An audio guide from the tourist office will accompany you on your walk, informing you about the history of the place and its biodiversity. Ideal place for a picnic break, you can even return there for the playground or an outing to the media library!

Sentier de l’Îlot (Duration: 30 min, accessible from May to October)

The Sentier de l’Îlot is a nature walk suitable for young people, discovering a little-known natural environment: wetlands. We come across rare species there, like the otter, and we can have fun observing their footprints with the family! Accessible from May to October, this educational trail is perfect for a spring or summer getaway by the river.

Before venturing to the foot of the bridge, where the trail begins, go to the town hall or the tourist office to pick up the game booklet that will accompany you on your walk! Extend the walk by exploring the village of Cintegabelle and its typical streets.

Mauressac Botanical Trail (Duration: 1h30)

This educational journey immerses you in the heart of local botanical diversity. Leave from the heart of the village and follow the fifty educational signs through hillsides, undergrowth and shared gardens. This trail takes you through a protected wood, into contact with local flora and fauna! If you look closely, you might see a deer around the corner! Be careful, the walk is a little long for younger children. It is possible to only do the beginning, without entering the woods.
